About Us

Second Chance Justice is a multi-faith and multi-racial campaign, jointly led by the Brockton Interfaith Community and the Massachusetts Communities Action Network. Established in 2020, our purpose is to educate the public and mobilize community support for the commutation of William Allen's life without parole sentence.

Rooted in the belief in second chances and fairness, our campaign strives to inform, uplift, and advocate for a more just and compassionate society. Together, we aim to ignite a powerful movement that transcends barriers, fostering understanding and driving impactful change in the pursuit of justice.

Our Work

Second Chance Justice is a dedicated initiative focused on clemency reform at the state level. With a strong commitment to advocating for individuals seeking a second chance, our organization actively organizes and mobilizes efforts to bring about meaningful changes in the clemency process. By amplifying the voices of those affected and advocating for their cases, we work tirelessly to ensure that deserving individuals are granted the opportunity for a fresh start.

Second Chance Justice is driven by the belief in redemption and the transformative power of compassion, striving to create a more equitable and just system of justice for all.
