The BIC Immigration Team empowers and supports the Immigrant Community in Brockton and throughout Massachusetts through solidarity, advocacy, and equitable policies. We use our faith values to challenge systemic inequalities and bring about sustainable changes that liberate immigrants.

Our Work
The BIC Immigration Team has made a profound impact, taking the lead in a highly successful statewide letter campaign and forging valuable partnerships with esteemed organizations like MCAN, Southeast Justice Center, and IFSI for impactful TPS clinics. The Immigration Team’s dedication is further reflected in their creation of educational videos, instrumental advocacy in passing the Work and Family Mobility Act, and relentless pursuit of an Immigrant Welcoming Center.
The Immigration Team is proud to have implemented "Certified Welcoming Standards," a designation given to cities that integrate, retain, and promote inclusive and welcoming communities for everyone.
